Helping reduce food waste by redistributing quality surplus meals to neighbors who need them.
Baltimore throws away an astonishing amount of perfectly good food while families a block away skip dinner. No Plate Wasted closes that gap.
Our volunteer drivers pick up surplus produce, bread, and prepared food from partner restaurants, grocers, and regional farms. Back at the center, a sorting crew inspects, portions, and packs everything for same-day distribution.
It's simple, hands-on work with an immediate result: food that was headed for a landfill ends up on a neighbor's table before dinnertime.
